Who is it for?
Anyone seeking to be empowered to recreate the salon & spa experience at home. Class participants will have access to the skills, knowledge and professional products necessary to recreate the salon & spa experience, wherever whenever.
What it is not!
Perugia is neither a hairdressing school nor an esthetic school. Our workshops are not intended for professional stylists to upgrade their skills. The workshops are not for hairstylists or hair colorists.
What are the Perugia Workshops?
Classes where people from all walks of life can come to learn the skills and be given the tools to perform hair & esthetic services at home. Our workshops are equipped with state of the art audio visual equipment that will make your learning experience effective, pleasant and comfortable.
What you can expect a class to look like!
A class will range between ONE hour and THREE hours.
The hair coloring beginners class for example is 2-1/2 hours from the moment you walk in to the time you leave. The instructor uses the latest learning technology to convey the complexity of hair coloring in simple terms so that a child could understand it. As the instructions are given a demonstration of a color application is done before your eyes where a non hairstylist is coached in all the phases of color application. Thirty minutes before the end of the class each participant is given a hair color consultation in which a variety of swatches of hair are draped around the face to select the appropriate target shade. To finalize the class, participants are escorted to the boutique where they are qualified to purchase professional hair color, developer and a color kit to take with them.
(Hands on is optional for intermediate and advanced color classes.)
