Perugia is a unique salon and spa in a club membership that is one of Canada's first businesses to truly empower men and women in the field of hair and esthetics. Perugia's a new idea on a well worn path of beauty salons, offering to share with its clients the professional secrets of the beauty industry, including professional products that up until now, were exclusive to professionals. The basic idea is to equip our customers with the knowledge and the products that will enable them to perform salon and spa services at home and maintain a professional look every day.

The PERUGIA story...

The year was 1911, a young man obsessed with the secrets of beauty made history, pursuing the most beautiful work of art, he believed he could uncover the secrets of her beauty and share it with the rest of the world, he stole the famed Mona Lisa.his name is PERUGIA.

93 years later this story inspired us to launch this new concept. We intend to plant 50 locations throughout the US and Canada. We are the modern PERUGIA; we are obsessed with the secrets of beauty and have begun sharing them with the rest of the world.

Perugia is a uniquely open environment where customers can book an appointment with a professional stylist or esthetician and, during the appointment, are encouraged to ask questions about what's happening. The Perugia professional will answer in detail, even demonstrating the finer points. Our clients can also take educational classes in which they participate with hands on experience. Classes are available in hair coloring, make-up, facials, waxing, pedicures and manicures whether it be in a group class or one on one.

Our goal is not to drive business away from salon services but on the contrary to support it with proper home use. We believe that the ideal PERUGIA client will get her hair color applied in the salon and will take the formula home with her for a touch up in between salon visits, allowing her to reduce the frequency of salon visits, saving her time and money.

Please note that some of the more complex, high-performance professional salon products are only available to clients who have taken the relevant instruction class covering their uses.

The Company

Perugia offers all of the expected salon services, such as hair cutting, hair coloring, hair design, massage therapy, facials, pedicures, and sophisticated makeup application. What makes Perugia so unique is that it also offers educational classes in all of those services, teaching clients the tricks of the trade in an open learning environment, and it offers all of the professional products and equipment needed for clients to perform these services at home. Salon clients can choose from a wide range of courses and skill levels, and we set out to provide a friendly, informative and fun atmosphere. Our boutique location offers over 30 of the world’s top brands including skin care, hair care, makeup, and body products.
